We can convert your 35mm colour slides/negatives/prints to JPEGs (playable on most DVD players), or to DVD with background music of your choice. Exposure and colour correction is applied as standard, as is any necessary cropping.
The cost of conversion to JPEGs is $1.50 per slide. We use a purpose-built slide (1800 dpi) and a 35mm negative scanner (1200 dpi) to produce very good quality images suitable for video and for JPEGs. The JPEGs are presented on a CD with full-colour custom label. We can scan slides up to 7200 dpi at extra cost. Images are corrected for brightness, contrast and colour balance where required. There is no extra charge for the CD itself, unless the number of images is less than 5.
If you wish to proceed to DVD, the costs above apply, plus the video/DVD conversion cost of $80, including the first DVD. This, of course, includes a custom full-colour label to your specification, plus background music of your choice. Extra copies are $10 per additional CD/DVD. NOTE: Most DVD players will play JPEG image files without conversion to DVD format, saving conversion costs, and giving generally better quality.
